Hey, folks! It has been busy around here, but I figured I’d throw out a little update to keep in touch. Here we go:
- I’ve been hosting the podcast Northwest by Night every Tuesday for the last month and a half, and it’s a HOOT. We cover all the strange and wonderfully weird bits of Pacific Northwest history, from Alaska to Oregon. Go check it out! We’re on iTunes, Spotify, GooglePlay, and probably a few other places that I’ve forgotten.
- My short story ‘Nobody’ has been included in the Nothing Anthology, and they’re hosting a release party on Friday in Manchester. I, however, am no where nearby, so I’ll be making a virtual appearance to share a bit of my tale. It’s a wonderful collection of stories, and if you can get your hands on a copy or request it for your local library, you won’t be disappointed!
- It looks like I’ll be hosting some writing workshops in 2020 with a variety of organizations, so I’ll shout about them closer to the dates, but consider yourself fairly warned!
- Over at Fox&Bee, we’ve got a number of projects on the go, but here’s our latest video of Perserverence Creek, which the Cumberland Community Forest Society is busy raising funds to protect. If you have a few extra bucks and you’d like to help save one of the loveliest bits of forest I’ve ever seen, then I’d like to point you in the CCFS’s direction. SAVE THE TREES!
Alright, folks, that’s it for now. I haven’t even said a peep about my current novel in progress (so exciting!), or working on a farm (so fun!), or filming with some pretty cool people lately … Suffice it to say, it’s been hectic ’round these parts, but busy hands are happy hands and creative minds are JOYFUL.
And it’s probably best to go follow me on Twitter, @kimbannerman, because I update there more regularly than here!
Peace out, my darlings! We’ll chat again soon!
